STUDENTS URGED TO PROMOTE PEACE AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA

The Abuakwa South Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) at Kyebi educated the students of Segyemase M/A JHS on good citizenship and nation-building.

The Senior Field Officer (SFO) Juliet Twum was the resource person for this engagement. She engaged them on how to live peacefully with their colleagues and members of their communities to promote peaceful co-existence.

She also encouraged them to keep practicing national values such as honesty, tolerance, adherence to rules and regulations, and respect for the elderly and people in authority, among others so they can help build a peaceful, strong, and united democratic Ghana.

Assistant Civic Education Officer (ACEO); Priscilla Chiri, also entreated students that were 18 years and above to exercise their franchise by voting in the upcoming District Level Elections to choose leaders who could play their liaison roles effectively to help address the development needs of their communities.
