NCCE'S GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL OFFICE AND THE NATIONAL PEACE COUNCIL HAVE ENGAGED STAKEHOLDERS TO CAMPAIGN AGAINST POLITICAL PARTIES VIGILANTISM

NCCE's Greater Accra Regional office and the National Peace Council, Accra office, have engaged political actors, youth groups, CSOs, security personnel, religious bodies, the media, and other stakeholders to campaign against political parties vigilantism in three selected districts within the region. The three districts are Ada, Tema, and Amasaman.

Organisers took participants through the Vigilantism and Other Offences Act 2019, Act 999, and collectively came up with a strategy to educate and engage their members on the Act. The program which was funded by Danida took place in the three selected districts.
