A recently organised an advocacy workshop with media professionals in the five Northern Regions of Ghana. The NCCE engaged the media practitioners to support its public education efforts to prevent and contain violent extremism in Ghana.
There were discussions on how the media can create content to sustain and support public education on violent extremism, the threat it poses to our democracy, and how NCCE/Media can rely on effective communication to heighten awareness on violent extremism.
Chairperson of NCCE, Ms. Kathy Addy, Deputy Chairman, Operations, Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, were at the programme. The programme was organised with support from the European Union.
