The Assin North Municipal office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), held a programme on the topic: “Nationalism/Patriotism and Values”, with recruits of the Assin Fosu Ghana Immigration Training School under the auspices of the Commandant and Commanding Officer.
The NCCE Municipal Director, Mr. Paul Tetteh, and Senior Civic Education Officer, Mr. Daniel K. Thompson, took the trainees through the concept of nationalism and patriotism, and how they can also contribute to deepen and promote development in Ghana. Trainees were also educated on duties to of every citizen as outlined in Article 41 of 1992 Constitution of Ghana. Trainees were further sensitised on upholding Ghanaian values, values and ethics of their profession as well as stand for what is right always.
In attendance were the Physical Training Instructor, Mr. Akwasi Nyarko and Drill Inspector, Officer George.
