At the Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral in Madina, the NCCE, with support from the European Partnership for Development (EPD), engaged youth groups on post-election peace and security under the Women and Youth in Democracy (WYDE) Project. The Nima Divisional Police Commander, ACP Eric Asiedu, led discussions on the dangers of illicit arms, the impact of vigilantism, and the importance of law enforcement in ensuring national stability.
He urged participants to support peaceful electoral processes and avoid actions that threaten democracy. The engagement reinforced the need for community cooperation in preventing electoral violence and upholding Ghana’s democratic values.
