The Ga East Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has educated members of the Women Fellowship of the Christ Apostolic Church International – Taifa Central as part of activities marking the 2026 Annual Constitution Week Celebration, with Patrick Darko and Aseye Jiagge leading the engagement on behalf of the Ga East Office.
The educational programme, held under the theme, “Upholding the Constitution in the Digital Age: A Collective Responsibility,” focused on promoting responsible digital behavior and protecting citizens from online fraud and misinformation in an era of rapid technological advancement and Artificial Intelligence.
During the session, the women were advised to verify information before sharing it, double-check website links, and exercise caution before making any financial transactions online. They were also encouraged to supervise their children when using mobile phones and other digital devices to help ensure their safety online and prevent exposure to harmful content and cyber-related risks.
The programme forms part of the NCCE's ongoing efforts to educate citizens on their civic responsibilities and the importance of safeguarding constitutional values in the digital age. Citizens have therefore been encouraged to stay informed, practice responsible online behavior, and report suspicious online activity to the appropriate authorities to help build a safer, more secure digital society for all.
