The Techiman Municipal office of the NCCE has engaged drivers, hawkers at the Techiman market and the traveling public on Preventing and Containing Violent Extremism on the 8th of May, 2023.

Mr. Joseph Adoma, the Techiman Municipal Director spoke about touched causes and effects of violent extremist activities. He elaborated on the preventive measures to respond to the spillover of terrorism and violent extremist activities from neighbouring countries. He also entreated the citizens to ensure peaceful coexistence and inter-faith tolerance in their respective communities.
