Call 999 to report suspicious characters to fight terrorsm in Ghana-NCCE

The Nsuta Office of the NCCE in the Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti Region as part of its civic education efforts has engaged the public on national security issues, environmental governance, tolerance and peaceful co-existence. The District Director for Nsuta, Gordon Yeboah Opoku, called on residents and traders to be alert and watch out for any suspicious characters within their communities. During a public outreach at Nsuta Market, Mr. Yeboah Opoku advised traders to be security conscious anywhere they found themselves especially at funerals, weddings, churches, mosques and any other public gatherings. Call 999 to report any suspicious character to the Ghana Police Service and opinion leaders.

The NCCE team at Nsuta preached against bad environmental practices such as activities that destroy the land, water pollution among others.

On the issue of peaceful coexistence, the team urged the traders to live in harmony with their neighbours.
