The Wassa Amenfi West, Asankragua Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) with support from Vivo Energy Ghana has embarked on a massive public sensitization to educate the citizenry on preventive measures to help fight against the COVID-19 disease.
Engaging communities, the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Director of the NCCE, Mr. Cornelius Ahiekpor urged Ghanaians to wash their hands thoroughly and regularly under running water and also frequently use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to reduce the risk of infection.
He further advised the populace to continue observing safety protocols such as social distancing among others, as this is one of the surest ways of winning the war against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Secondi-Takoradi Metropolitan and Jomoro Municipal offices of the Commission carried out similar engagements in their jurisdictions.
