NCCE Promotes Environmental Governance in Sissala West

As part of efforts to promote sustainable environmental management and cleanliness, the Sissala West District office of the NCCE partnered with the Hope and Awareness Alliance Foundation, a youth group in Gwollu, to organise a clean-up exercise in communities and facilities in the Gwollu district.

The exercise saw the participation of officials from Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the Environmental Health Department, the Ghana National Fire Service, and the military, who collectively collaborated to ensure a clean environment, particularly within the hospital premises in the district. The initiative reflects the Commission’s commitment to go beyond public sensitisation to actively engage communities to improve sanitation.
