Think Before You Share – NCCE Warns Students

Students of Tema Secondary School have been cautioned about the dangers of spreading false information and fake news. NCCE's Greater Accra Regional Director, Mr. Mawuli Agbenu, warned participants that misinformation fuels public unrest and division.

He outlined the dangers of misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, and hate speech. Students were advised to verify sources of news before sharing content with others.

Mr. Eric Quagrainie, a staff of the Teme West District office of the NCCE, also demonstrated to participants how to fact-check and identify fake news, reinforcing the need for critical thinking in today’s digital space.
