The Yendi Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education(NCCE) has intensified its public sensitization and engagement on the Upcoming Assembly and Unit Committee Elections.
In his engagements, the Yendi Municipal Director of the Commission, Mr. Kassim Osman, said the public sensitization sought to whip up interest and active participation in this crucial democratic exercise.
The District Director used media and face-to-face engagements to reach out to potential voters within the Yendi Municipality.
Mr. Osman underscored the importance of active citizen participation in the electoral process and urged all to support and encourage the female candidates.
He also mentioned that the elections would take place on December 19, 2023, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
