NCCE ENGAGES TRADERS AND HAWKERS IN KINTAMPO SOUTH

With its unrelenting public sensitisation zeal, the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Office in the Kintampo South District has engaged traders and hawkers of Amoma and Anyima Monday markets, on the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination progamme and the need to observe safety protocols.

The Kintampo South NCCE Director, Mr. Isaac Osei Agyemang, who interacted with the traders and hawkers, urged them to continue observing the COVID-19 Safety protocols and get ready to receive the COVID-19 vaccination when the time is due.

He equally debunked the myths making rounds that the vaccines will make men impotent and eventually kill them, stressing that, they are unscientific, baseless, and untenable.

Mr. Osei Agyemeng assured the public of the safety of the vaccines and encouraged them to avail themselves for the COVID-19 vaccination exercise when it gets to their turn to help curb the spread and severity of the disease.

The engagements at the two Market Centres form part of the Commission’s public education activities on the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region.
