The wife of the Vice President of Ghana, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has entreated students to keep the environment clean. She said a healthy environment guarantees a healthy nation hence the urgent need to prioritize good environmental practices.
Mrs. Bawumia said this when she took her part in NCCE’s 2018 Citizenship Week engagement on sanitation practices. It was on the theme “The Environment and You”.

NCCE’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Finance and Administration, Ms. Kathy Addy who accompanied Mrs. Bawumia stated that the education on sanitation is the second phase of an annual celebration dubbed “Citizenship Week Celebration”.
Ms. Addy said the NCCE will continue to sensitize citizens on good environmental practices governance, nationwide to make Ghana clean and environmentally friendly.
