KNOW YOUR DUTIES AS YOUNG CITIZENS OF GHANA

The Techiman North District of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has carried out an engagement with pupils of Tuobodom Saviour JHS as part of the 2023 Citizenship Week celebration. The theme for the engagement was, “30 Years of Constitutional Democracy, Building National Cohesion and the Role of the Ghanaian Child”.

The Principal Civic Education Officer (PCEO) Seidu Mohammed and the Civic Education Officer (CEO) Daadi Zaccheaus took the students through the importance of the Commission’s Annual Citizenship Week Celebration and also highlighted the roles every child needs to play in society.

He urged them to read the content of the Constitution to know their rights and responsibilities as citizens. The headmaster of the school; Mr. Agyapong Frederick emphasized the need for the children to co-exist with their colleagues, volunteer to support community development, and be good citizens.
