Chairperson of NCCE, Ms. Kathleen Addy was in the Northern Region for her maiden working visit. During the visit, Ms. Addy paid a courtesy call to the Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Shaibu Alhassan Shani. The Regional Minister welcomed Ms. Addy and her them and indicated the NCCE remains a strategic partner in consolidating Ghana’s democracy. Alhaji Shani said the doors of the Regional Coordinating Council are always opened to the NCCE to collectively promote effective civic education in the region.

Ms. Kathleen Addy mentioned that the Regional Coordinating Council is a strategic stakeholder in the work of the NCCE and called for the support of the Council in terms of accommodation, logistics, and other supplies that would enhance civic education delivery in the Region.
