Builsa North NCCE trumpets peace across the Municipality

As we count down to the December 7 Polls, the National Commission for Civic Education has intensified its election education in all districts across the country. In that vein, the Builsa North District Office has leveraged the Mobile Van Announcement strategy to deliver messages on peace before, during, and after the elections to the populace within its enclave.

Engagements touched on the relevance of elections as a tenet of democracy, explaining that it is the process of entrusting inalienable power and authority of the citizens to a few to take charge of the affairs of the state.

Participants were implored to acknowledge and partake in the impending elections as their civic duty. They were also charged to vote for their preferred candidates upon a thorough analysis and assessment of their policies and developmental interventions.

Residents of the Municipality were however warned to refrain from inciting disturbances and other violent related acts, as the security personnel are on standby to bring to book anyone found culpable of an action geared towards marring the elections.

Towards the December 7 Polls, the NCCE has observed communication gaps within society and has equally identified strategies to bridge these gaps in order to guarantee every nook and cranny is covered with its messages.
