Akuapem North Municipal Directorate of the NCCE establishes a Civic Education Club in the School for the Blind - Akropong and Senior High Technical School for the Deaf - Mampong

The Akuapem North Municipal Directorate of the Commission, as part of building an inclusive society where citizens are well informed for equal participation in civic life, has established a Civic Education Club in the School for the Blind - Akropong and Senior High Technical School for the Deaf - Mampong.

The Municipal Director, Ms. Benedicta Duvor, and Mr. Eric K. Ocloo (CFO) in their separate engagements highlighted the main objective behind the initiative which is to deliver Civic Education at the doorsteps of the marginalised in society especially persons living with disabilities to engender involvement and equal participation in civic life.

Students were further enlightened on the aims and objectives of the Club, methods of realisation of the aims and objectives as well as its organisational structure.
