Senior Civic Education Officer of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Simon Mawuko has entreated Ghanaians to keep their environment clean at all times. This he said was one of the avenues through which the country can progressively develop to middle-income level status.
Mr. Mawuko said this when he addressed parents, staff, and pupils of Agbledomi Phileo Basic School during the school’s 2019 Speech and Prize Giving day at Agbledomi in the Volta Region. ‘In order to sustain a clean environment, there is the need for us to reduce, reuse and recycle plastics and always keep the environment clean”, he said.
He also advised parents to keep an eye on their children during the vacation to prevent them from getting involved in social evils like stealing, cybercrime among others. He further called on all Ghanaians who are 15 and above to register for the Ghana card as it is their civic right and responsibility.
