It is very obvious that the role of every Ghanaian citizen is important in the fight against COVID-19. For this reason, the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has been engaging citizens from all walks of life to sensitize them on COVID-19 related issues.
During one of such engagements, pupils of Osu Presby Boys Primary have been tasked to protect play a role in fighting the pandemic by observing all the COVID-19 safety protocols. An Assistant Civic Education Officer at the NCCE Korle-Klottey office, Ophelia Ashong Mettle urged the pupils to regularly wash their hands with soap under running water, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer, observe social distancing among other safety protocols. ‘We all stand the risk of getting it if we don't stick to the prescribed protocols” she said.
