DUTIES AND RIGHTS OF CITIZENS COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER - NCCE

The Adansi South office of the NCCE in the Ashanti Region has observed this year’s Constitution Week Celebrations with media engagements and discussions on the theme; ‘30 Years of Uninterrupted Constitutional Rule, Revisiting an Agenda for Reform’.

During a radio discussion on Glory 89.7 FM, the District Director for Adansi South, Mr. Charles Gyimah reminded citizens of the successes chalked up under Ghana’s democracy. He encouraged citizens to abide by Article 41 of the 1992 Constitution and respect its content. Mr. Gyimah admonished Ghanaians to perform their duties as citizens the same way they enjoy their rights as the two complement each other.

Mr. Gyimah tasked citizens to contribute their quota towards developing mother Ghana. Also present at the radio sensitisation programme was Assistant Civic Education Officer, Atta Poku who tasked parents to raise their kids properly to become responsible citizens in the near future.
