The Oti Regional Directorate of the NCCE has engaged the Oti Regional Police Command in Dambai as part of a nationwide Constitution Week celebration. The NCCE spoke to the officers on the theme: 30 Years of Consolidating Constitutional Democracy: Building National Cohesion through Civic Education and Local Participation in Governance; the Role of the Police.

The Regional Director, Mr. Robert Boame indicated in his remarks that the 4th Republic being the longest in the political history of Ghana, hasn't been a mere coincidence. He attributed the success to the collective efforts of various stakeholders including the Ghana Police Service.

Mr. Boame charged officers of the Ghana Police Service to remain unbiased and serve with integrity.

Officers at the gathering thanked the NCCE and encouraged the Commission to help educate citizens on the mandate of the Service.
