​NCCE INTENSIFIES "IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING" CAMPAIGN.

The West Gonja Municipal Office, Damongo in the Savannah Region held a sensitization engagement for the Fulani (Fulbes) community in Damongo on Preventing and Containing Violent Extremism (PCVE). The sensitization was centred on topics including Triggers and Effects of Violent Extremism; Signs of Radicalization; Ways to Resist and Resist the Appeal of Terrorism and What to do during Violent Attacks.

The resource person, Mr Mohammed Ibrahim (Municipal Director ) also spoke on the need for peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance. He concluded by encouraging everyone to assist the security agencies in the Municipality and the country at large, to help make the country a better place (IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING).

Present at the engagement for monitoring was Mr Issaka Zitor, the NCCE Savannah Regional Director.
