NCCE IN EHIAMENKYENE CELEBRATES CITIZENSHIP AT R/C JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The Fanteakwa South of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has engaged students of Ehiamenkyene Roman Catholic Junior High School in the Eastern Region as part of this year’s Citizenship Week Celebration. This exercise is one of the Commission’s flagship programmes.

This year’s engagement is on the theme, "Thirty Years of Consolidating Constitutional Democracy, Building National Cohesion: The Role of the Youth’. The District Director of the NCCE, Mr. Kwadwo Adu-Asare, entreated the students to be good citizens with great values. He asked them to be respectful, honest, trustworthy and obey all school rules and regulations.

The District Director reminded the students of their civic duty in Article 41(f) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana; to protect and preserve school properties. Mr. Adu-Asare reiterated calls for the students to focus on their studies in order to pass their exams.
