NCCE Denkyembour District Fosters Civic Engagement at District Assembly Inauguration

The inauguration of the District Assembly members of the 4th Assembly was held today, Monday 12th of February 2024 at the Denkyembour District Assembly Hall.

The office of the National Commission for Civic Education Denkyembour District, Akwatia, organised Civic Education Club members of Liberty Academy JHS to witness the inaugural ceremony of the newly elected members of the District Assembly. About 30 newly elected Assembly members were inaugurated and inducted.

Alhaji Shamrock Abdulai Gafaru, the District Coordinating Director for the Denkyembour District, who coupled to be the representative of the President for the Republic of Ghana H.E Nana Addo Dunkwa Akuffo Addo, congratulated the newly elected Assembly members and encouraged them to always make it a point prioritize development in the District.
