NCCE Civic Education Club Members Participate in Inauguration of New Juaben North Municipality Leaders

The Civic Education Club members of Pope John Senior High School participated in the third Inauguration of the Newly Elected Assembly and Unit Committee Members of the New Juaben North Municipality.

The ceremony which took place at the forecourt of the Assembly, graced by dignitaries such as the National Security Minister, Member of Parliament for New Juaben North, Immediate past Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, Chiefs, Religious Leaders, Municipal Director of NCCE, Municipal Director EC, Heads of Departments, NPP and NDC Parliamentary Candidates and Students of Pope John Senior high school Civic Education club.

The ceremony was chaired by the Chief of Effiduase, Nana Okoawia Dwomo Baabu II. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the National Security Minister, Hon.Albert Kan-Dapaah, representing the President of the Republic of Ghana said the occasion marked another milestone towards Decentralization and Local Governance objectives.

He congratulated all the newly Elected Assembly and Unit Committee Members on their victory and urged them to work effectively for their respective communities since they are accountable to their people and not to politicise their work.

Ending his speech he urged the newly elected Assembly Members to work hand in hand with the District Assembly to ensure massive development in the District.
