NCCE Asene Manso Akroso District office organizes students to witness the 2nd inauguration of newly elected assembly

The Asene Manso Akroso District office of the NCCE, Eastern Region organized some executives of five (5) basic schools and some selected students of Atweaman SHS to witness the 2nd inauguration of the newly elected assembly and unit committee members at the district assembly Hall. The NCCE District Director, Mr Maxwell Nkansah Botwe was called upon to elaborate on the functions of the Units Committee Members. He indicated that the Committee helped in the organization of communal labour, assisted any person assigned to collect revenue, monitored the implementation of projects in the electoral area, etc.

The Chief of Manso Obrempong Simtin-Opoku III, chaired the programme. The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Amoako Attah, the President Representative congratulated the newly elected assembly members and urged them to work harder for the development of their various electoral areas.
