NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CIVIC EDUCATION (NCCE) INTERACTS WITH GNFS IN THE SAVANNAH REGION

A team from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Savannah Region led by the Regional Director Mr. Zitor Issakah has interacted with Personnel under the Regional Fire Command as part of their Annual Constitutional Day Celebrations on the theme "Thirty Years of Consolidating Constitutional Democracy: Building National Cohesion Through Civic Education and Participation in Local Governance"

The Regional Director highlighted a number of issues, including:
* A call on all Personnel to appreciate the three decades of uninterrupted constitutional democracy and do all they could to protect it.
* A call on all to actively participate in the upcoming District Assembly and Unit Committee elections.
* A reminder for all to promote peace and national cohesion as well as respect the role of security services in nation-building.

In his remarks, the Regional Fire Commander, ACFO I Emmanuel Ofori Adjei reiterated the important roles the NCCE plays in National development and urged them not to relent in their efforts to ensure the country continues to enjoy peace and tranquility.
