INTENSIVE NATIONWIDE SENSITISATION ON COVID-19 CONTINUES

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Church of Pentecost

collaborative public education and sensitisation activities on COVID-19 are on-going

vigorously across country.

Emphasis of message is on the need for Ghanaians to strictly adhere to precautionary measures recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO), Ghana Health Service (GHS) and the Ministry of Health (MoH). These include upholding social distancing, avoiding hugging, handshakes, touching of eyes, nose, mouth, regularly and thoroughly washing hands with soap under running water and use of alcohol-based sanitizer in order to contain the spread of the pandemic.

Upper West Region

Greater Accra Region

Greater Accra received another cinema van from the Church of Pentecost for public education on COVID-19. Greater Accra now has 2 vans working in the region.Madina La-Nkwantana District

Ada East District

Eastern Region

Volta Region

NCCE staff engages ”Okada” riders on COVID- 19.

NCCE Announcers are currently at Adaklu communities. The vehicle will proceed to Agortime Ziope and its environs in the afternoon. By close of day, more than thirty communities will be covered.
