Former President John Agyekum Kufuor today received a delegation of officials from the National Commission for Civic Education and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation at his residence. The meeting discussed this year's Voter Education activities by the NCCE and the GBC. H.E. Agyekum Kufuor seized the opportunity to admonish the two-state institutions to continue to work in the interest of the public. He made some very useful suggestions to the NCCE especially, as the Commission intensifies voter education ahead of the December 2020 polls. Among the delegation was the Chairman of NCCE, Ms. Josephine Nkrumah, Deputy Chairman, Operations, Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, Deputy Chairman, F&A, Ms. Kathy Addy, Commission Member, Mrs. Hajara Rufai Mohammed, the Director-General of GBC, Professor Amin Alhassan and the Acting Director of Television, Mr. Ebenezer Ampaabeng. The NCCE and GBC have agreed to work together to champion voter education through programmes and activities lined up for the 2020 general election.
