The Sekyere Central District office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Nsuta in the Ashanti Region visited five (5) schools within the district; the Oxford Brookes Int. School- Nsuta, DA Primary & JHS, Presby Primary, Boamah Kwabi Primary & JHS, GMM Primary and JHS- Beposo on 11th and 12th September 2023. The purpose of the education exercise was to interact with the students about their Civic Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities as good citizens of our great nation.

The resource person, Gordon Yeboah Opoku (Sekyere Central District Director, NCCE) sensitized and educated the students to be law-abiding by diligently respecting the laws of the land, especially by-laws. They were taken through Article 41 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana. These future leaders and ambassadors of the law were advised to desist from anything that would jeopardize their destinies. These young intellects were encouraged with the slogan, “If you see something, say something” to report any suspicious activity to the nearest law enforcement agency.

Other officers present were Michael Benefor Ofori (Principal Civic Education Officer), Solomon Kwabi, Serwaah Frimpong Ama, Mavis Agyeiwaa, and Douglas Kwame Amoako, all interns.
