Berekum West IPDC Strengthens Election Preparedness Ahead of 2024 Polls

On November 5, 2024, the Berekum West District Inter-Party Dialogue Committee (IPDC) held an executive meeting to discuss strategies for promoting peace and public awareness ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections. The gathering focused on enhancing election-related education to ensure a smooth and peaceful voting process.

Attendees included committee chairman Nana Adjei Peter, District Police Commander Mr. Samson Asefi, and religious leaders such as Rev. Jonathan Kyere from the local council of churches and Rev. Michael Osei Abrefa, head pastor of Assemblies of God, Jinijini. Representing the NCCE were Mr. Dari Joseph and Mr. Aopare Godfred, with District Director Nad Adiza Gyengyenaa, who organized the meeting. Together, the leaders emphasized the importance of peaceful conduct during the elections and reiterated their commitment to fostering unity across the district.
