ACHIASE NCCE EDUCATES CITIZENS ON COVID-19 VACCINE

As part of efforts to discourage all the myths linked to the COVID-19 vaccination exercise, the Achiase District Office of the NCCE has embarked on a sensitization drive at major market centres at Achiase.

In Achiase and its environs, it has come to the attention of the NCCE that indigens are rejecting the vaccines as a result of the myths surrounding the vaccine.

The NCCE office has therefore been engaging community members to encourage citizens there to accept the vaccine. Mr. Michael Larbi, the Officer In Charge at the Achiase District Office used the opportunity to interact with community members to assure them of the efficacy of the vaccine. He urged the community members to disregard all the myths and called on them to get vaccinated to control the spread of the disease. He described all the conspiracy theories as unfortunate and urged the market women to treat them with all the contempt they deserve. .Mr. Larbi said that the vaccine has come to complement other COVID-19 protocols to protect citizens from contracting the covid-19 virus.
