Youth in Okaikwei North Urged to Foster National Unity

The NCCE, with funding from the European Partnership for Development, organised a youth engagement at the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly to promote post-election peace and stability. NCCE’s Greater Accra Regional Director, Mr. Mawuli Agbenu, led discussions on the consequences of post-election violence, the dangers of misinformation, and the role of young people in fostering national unity.

He emphasised the importance of informed civic participation in maintaining peace and stability after elections. The initiative is part of NCCE’s broader efforts to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to sustain democracy and prevent electoral violence.
