UPHOLDING CIVIC RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF WOMEN, YOUTH AND PWDs DURING A PANDEMIC

The National Commission for Civic Education, NCCE, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have jointly organised a Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for women, youth, and persons with disabilities on their civic rights and responsibilities at Sefwi Wiawso.

The event was under the theme: “Strengthening Local Capacities for the Green and Inclusive Recovery Project.” It sought to empower special interest groups such as women, youth, and persons with disabilities to fully participate in decision-making processes at their respective local levels on issues that affect their social, economic, and political life including recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
