The Ghana Flag: Our Identity, Our Pride.

The beautiful Flag of Ghana is a piece of cloth that is rectangular and used as one of the symbols of Ghana. The flag has three colours; Red, Gold and Green and a Black Star in the middle.

The Red signifies the blood shed by our forebearers for the independence of Ghana.

Gold stands for the mineral wealth of Ghana such as gold, diamond, manganese and bauxite.

The Green represents the agricultural wealth of Ghana, including vegetation and products like cocoa, timber, kola, shea-butter and coffee.

Not forgetting the Black Star which symbolises the hope of Africa.
