The Chairman of the National Commission for Civic Education, Ms. Josephine Nkrumah, and her deputies, Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah and Ms. Kathleen Addy have called on the Head of Local Government Service, Dr. Nana Ato Arthur in Accra. The two-state institutions met to discuss issues on the operations of the NCCE especially in 216 districts across the country and how the two can best collaborate to effectively deliver on their mandates. The Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs at the NCCE, Mrs. Joyce Afutu, and other officials from the Local Government Service were also at the meeting.
