The NCCE and Media Coalition Against Illegal Mining will organise Editors Forum and Town Hall Meeting on April 26 and 27, 2018 respectively. The collaboration between NCCE and the Coalition has come to stay.
The focus of the joint venture is to Stop and End Galamsey in Ghana. Galamsey is affecting the country’s water bodies and forest reserves. The two institutions will continue to engage citizens to protect and sustain the country’s environment and water resources. For now, the spotlight is on the Western Region where residents or inhabitants are actively sensitised to refrain from illegal mining.
