STAFF OF NCCE TO BE SCHOOLED ON PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ACT, 2016 (ACT 921)

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) with support from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) will from the 29th of August to 4th of September, 2018, train 83 staff of NCCE on the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).

The Trainer of Trainers (ToT) workshop will equip the selected staff with the requisite knowledge on the PFM Act. It will further build the capacity of personnel of the Commission to effectively apply the PFM Law in the performance of their duties. The PFM Act seeks to regulate financial management within the public sector.

It is the expectation of the organisers that beneficiaries after undergoing the training will share knowledge gained with other staff to enhance the operational capacity of the Commission as civic educators to undertake awareness-raising and public education campaigns on the PFM Act.
