​SEKYERE CENTRAL DISTRICT, NCCE DIRECTORATE HOLDS GRAND FINALE OF THE 2024 INTER-SCHOOL CONSTITUTION COMPETITION

The Sekyere Central Directorate of the NCCE has held the grand finale of the 2024 Inter-School Constitution Quiz Competition.

The 2024 edition of the competition was themed "Together We Can Build Ghana: So, Get Involved".

The annual event, which is organised for students of various basic schools in the district, sought to educate and test the knowledge of students on the tenets of the 1992 Republican Constitution.

This year's event had schools being categorised into various zonal-level competitions, which saw Bonkrong D/A JHS, St. Peter's R/C JHS, and Nsuta Presby JHS emerge as the three qualifying schools for the grand finale of the competition.

The final stage of the competition had students being tested on their knowledge of the mandate of the NCCE, the 1992 Constitution and Current Affairs.

The event was graced by Mad. Lois Ohene-Ayisi (Ag. District Co-Ord. Director, SCDA), Mr. Augustine Appiah (Deputy Director in charge of Supervision, District Education Directorate), Mr. Kwabena Asamoah Badu (Retired Staff of the NCCE), Staff of the NCCE, Staff of the District Assembly and Teachers of the various contending schools.

The final results at the end of the contest were as follows:

St. Peter's R/C JHS: 69 points.

Nsuta Presby JHS: 52 points

Bonkrong D/A JHS: 25 points.

The team congratulated the teachers and contestants of St. Peter's R/C JHS for emerging as champions of the 2024 quiz competitions.
