The Awutu Senya District Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) interacted with members of the Ghana Hair Dressers and Beauticians Association and Ghana National Association of Tailors and Dressmakers at Bereku on peaceful coexistence, national cohesion, and consensus-building. The engagement seeks to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
Addressing the participants, the District Director of the Awutu Senya District, Cephas Kofi Agboada, said the 1992 Constitution of Ghana promotes unity, peaceful co-existence, equity, and national cohesion as key pillars in democratic development. He took participants through Article 41 of the 1992 Constitution which addresses the duties and responsibilities of citizens.
