Peaceful co-existence key for national development – NCCE

The National Commission for Civic Education continues to preach peaceful coexistence among the populace as part of post-election undertakings. It is in this respect that the Jaman South Municipal Office of the Commission has engaged residents of the Municipality.

Members of staff carried out activities precisely in Faaman, Baanafo, Dwenem and Drobo communities, shedding light on the importance of embracing peaceful co-existence and national cohesion in the development of Ghana.

Through door-to-door engagements, dawn and dusk broadcasts, and the use of information centres, residents were admonished to look beyond the disparities in cultures and backgrounds and rather focus on how we could leverage the diversity while combining forces to propel our beloved country forward.

Residents of the Municipality were additionally urged to respect the rights of others and tolerate opposing views, adding that that is the beauty of democracy.
