Okere District Director of the NCCE has called on farmers in the district to actively participate in the upcoming District Level Elections (DLEs)

The Okere District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Godfried Alexander Bonney has called on farmers in the district to actively participate in the upcoming District Level Elections (DLEs) to elect their Assembly and Unit Committee Members to consolidate Ghana’s democracy. Mr. Godfried Alexander Bonney made the call during a day's planning session for the Okere District Research Extension Linkage Committee Unit of the Department of Agric.

Addressing the farmers, the District director admonished the farmers to engage in appropriate waste disposal to maintain soil fertility. He also cautioned them on the negative effects of domestic violence and spousal abuse.
