OBEY SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS-NCCE

Citizenship Week celebration has taken the New Juaben North Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to the King Jesus Junior High School in the New Juaben District. The engagement was on the theme, “30 Years of Consolidating Constitutional Democracy, Building National Cohesion: The Role of the Youth”.

The Municipal Director, Ebenezer Acheampong spoke about the rights and responsibilities of citizens. He also touched on the mandate and functions of NCCE.

The Municipal Commander of the Ghana Police Service at New Juaben North, Superintendent Yao Young, who served as the resource person advised the pupils to live in harmony with others and obey school rules and regulations. He admonished them to stay away from substance abuse, sextortion, stealing, betting/gambling, cybercrime, and indecent dressing among other vices. He encouraged the students to be good citizens of Ghana.
