NCCE URGES CITIZENS TO BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE LIMITED VOTER’S REGISTRATION

The West Mamprusi Municipal Office of the National Commission For Civic Education (NCCE) has met with a group of hairdressers at the old Assemblies of God church building in Walewale to sensitise them on Limited Voter Registration and District Level elections(DLEs).

The Principal Field Officer, Mr. Mohammed Alhassan, highlighted the need for the hairdressers to take part in the ongoing Limited Voters’ Registration Exercise and urged them to be actively involved in the exercise. Mr. Alhassan noted that the exercise was targeted to capture individuals who have recently attained the age of 18 or are above 18 but for one reason or the other could not register during the 2020 registration.

He tasked them to also have interest in the District level Elections (DLEs) and encouraged them to vote for the female candidates.
