NCCE sensitises Students on National core values

The Akuapem North Municipal Office of the Commission has on 14th February 2024 sensitised pupils of Okuapemman JHS - Akropong and Methodist JHS - Mamfe on Misconceptions of St. Valentine’s Day Celebration and National Core Values.

Nana A. Oduraa III (CEO) and Ms. Alberta E. Attipoe in the separate deliveries briefed pupils on the history and reason behind the day’s celebration which is now earmarked as Chocolate Day in Ghana.

The pupils were further sensitised on certain misconceptions surrounding the day which has had a significant impact on sexual immorality in recent times, urging them to focus on their education and be cautious of persons who take advantage of the day to lure young girls into such acts.

Moreover, they were encouraged to uphold National Core Values as enshrined in the 1992 Constitution by being nationalistic and patriotic in all aspects of their lives.

The Office shared chocolates with pupils to commemorate the day as the occasion demands. David K. Adu (ACEO), Eric K. Ocloo (CFO) and Portia Hlovor (PFO) assisted in the process.
