NCCE SEKYERE CENTRAL DISTRICT CELEBRATES CONSTITUTION WEEK WITH SELECTED SCHOOLS

The Sekyere Central District Directorate of the NCCE has organised a quiz competition on the 1992 Constitution on the 2024 theme, Together We Can Build Ghana: So, Get Involved!

This was to engage some selected schools, grouped into zones, to be abreast with the tenets of the 1992 Constitution to mark its Annual Constitution Week Celebration. Questions were based on the Constitution, the mandate of NCCE and national current affairs. The schools involved in Zone 1 were: Atonsu DA JHS, Atonsu Methodist JHS, Atonsu SDA JHS and Atonsu Presby JHS.

Atonsu Presby JHS was declared the winner of the Zonal contest (Atonsu Zone) and would await competitions from other zones at the District level.

The occasion was graced by Hon. Philip Frederick Boafo (Assembly Member for the Atonsu Electoral Area), Hon. George Anane (Assembly Member for the Abordease Electoral Area) and Madam Josephine Seg Beru (Atonsu Circuit Supervisor).

Also, in attendance were some staff of the District Assembly, the NCCE, and teachers and students of the participating schools.
