The New Juaben South Municipal Office of the NCCE in collaboration with Big M. Consult, event organisers has held its maiden edition of the Brain Challenge, a constitution quiz/game competition for basic schools in the Municipality.
This competition sought to project the relevance of the 1992 Constitution to the youth and instill in them a sense of civic duty for development. It also sought to draw active citizenship from the students and enable them to participate in sustaining Ghana's democracy. Twelve (12) schools selected schools in the municipality participated in the competition. The contestants answered questions on the 1992 Constitution, environmental issues, political history of Ghana and current affairs.
At the zonal stage, four (4) schools namely; Kovoc Schools Complex, Brentford International Academy, Trinity Presby Royals Preparatory and Universal Preparatory School made it through to the finals slated for 12th November 2022.
The New Juaben South Municipal Director of the NCCE, speaking at the competition, Mr. Francis Allan Cobbah to expressed gratitude to Big M. Consult for supporting the Commission to execute its core mandate. He urged all participating schools and supporters to bear in mind that Mother Ghana must come first in all their dealings and all persons are enjoined to work collectively towards achieving that goal. The competition was sponsored by Pomasidor Ghana Limited.
