The Bole District directorate organized a community engagement at Kakiase in the Bole District on Preventing and Containing Violent Extremism (PCVE). Issues discussed with the participants include vulnerabilities to joining extremist groups, the negative effects of violent extremism, and the role citizens can play in preventing and containing violent extremism.
The resource person was the district director, Margaret A. Konlan. The programme was monitored by the Director of Communications, Mrs. Joyce Efutu, and the Savannah Regional Director of NCCE, Mr. Zitor Issaka.
