NCCE educates schools in Asamankese on Ghanaian moral values and customs

The Municipal Director and Officers of the West Akim Municipal office of the NCCE, Asamankese have paid a visit to some selected basic schools within the municipality to sensitize them on Ghanaian Moral Values and Customs.

The event which took place at the auditorium of the Asamankese S.D.A church and Zion JHS.

The discussion was led by the Municipal Director, Daniel Chartey, and Assistant Civic Education Officer, Mr Samuel Gyasi Ansah for the two respective schools. Topics discussed were honesty, respect for one another, hard work, kindness, nationalism, and patriotism.

Students were also encouraged to take their studies seriously and to shy away from social vices that may curtail their prospects.

Other officers assisting in this sensitisation programme were Ms. Angela Okoe (ACEO) and Mr. Bernard Ofori Owusu (SCEO).
